  1. Leopards are large wild cats just a bit
  2. smaller than the LION. They live in Africa and
  3. southern Asia. Most leopards are covered in
  4. spots, like the JAGUAR, but some are nearly
  5. black. They are called the PANTHER. Leopards
  6. are fierce, strong and agile hunters. They are
  7. good climbers and they often hunt from trees,
  8. lying in wait on a branch.
